Netherlands

Maybe try the sauna deco , I live here in Holland and the saunas are great , they have swimming pools and steam rooms and relaxing to do in the day , all saunas and spas are mostly.naked here and but it's just the normal here and pretty relaxed ... and it's around 35 euros per person most places , also have a club called sameplace in Amsterdam , I've never been but heard its good ... try a pancake from pancakes of Amsterdam, 2 minutes walk from the station , Google it and it will show you how near it is ... alot of places don't take visa so be sure to change enough cash too ... if looking for a swinger club there is also the paradise club , its just the other side of the river behind the station , taxis are a little on the expensive side and be careful for that too , hope you both have a super lovely time and enjoy your holidays and if wany to know anything else please feel free to message me

" try a pancake from pancakes of Amsterdam, 2 minutes walk from the station , Google it and it will show you how near it is ... "

If you're wondering about at 1am while waiting for the night bus, any of the many sweet food outlets will be amazing!

"Things to do during mid week"

I'd say just relax, wahmnemder around and enjoy

I live there half of the time and there is always something to see and do if you don't plan too strict an agenda.

Try Apple tarte from Winkel.

There is a beautiful and quite hidden away quiet square just off Kalverstraat near to Spui called Begijnhof ... really worth finding.

At the end of Kalverstraat is a shopping centre(kalvertoren)...there is a great cafe up there...take the lifetime.

Fantastic views across the city...Cafe Blue.

Also a cafe with great views at the City Library...its near to Central Station... with the station behind you turn left and keep walking.

Take the lift up in the library.

Vondelpark is lovely if tge weather is good...get snacks and have a picnic and a walk around it.

Free ferry across to other Side of the harbour. Ferries are pretty frequent and a good experience.

Take the one to NDSM wharf.... there is a great cafe with a fake beach called Plek. Very bohemian arty vibe around this area. Explore the area...sone great places there.

Wander around the 9 streets...loads if good shops and cafes/bars.

The Jordaan is a good area to wander about too.

The Hortus Botanicus is interesting to visit and so is the zoo.

Just message uf you want any more tips.

Dx

The Anne Frank House you need to book online and if it is very soon that you are going you will probably not get availability.

Grantham

For a canal cruise, book one of the smaller independent operators. They have local knowledgeable captains, and you will get a beer and a snack as you trundle around the canals.

Coffee or a beer in Vondelpark, after a stroll around.

Tram to De Mol, the brewery tap if Ij brewery. Set in a windmill.

Jenever tasting at Waynard Fockinck, just off Dam Square.

The big street market at Rokin.

Day trip to the beach at Zandvoort, stopping off at Haarlem on the way back.

Great and cheap public transport system, so ride the trams and trains.

Just avoid anything touristy!!

"Anne Frank house"

Hard no on this.

Anne Frank House was arguably the most disappointing place I visited in Amsterdam. Its NOTHING like what one might imagine it to be.
