All over the news about the shortage of fruit and veg in the shops.

It’s not really a big deal is it… so what if you can’t get some tomatoes and peppers at the moment.

Eat a different fruit/veg til it comes in season.

You will be able to grow your own tomatoes here soon.

My thoughts too… the amount of people moaning they can’t get some tomatoes is unreal …. I bet half of them don’t even eat a vegetable from one week to the next when they are available

The little veg shop I was in today had tomatoes of every shape and size. Amazing. I Should have bought them all and set up a blackmarket stall outside asda re-flogging them to help pay my gas bill.

You are aware the cause of the shortage is bad weather in Spain and Morocco?

I like tomatoes and eat them most days, I'm used to being able to buy them all year round. Turnips just don't cut it although I do enjoy carrots, parsnips and winter greens. If the advice we're given is to be believed this is temporary though

Depends... if you have a balcony and it's enclosed and facing the sun during the day - it can be your own personal green house

Well some can, some can't. Those that could might, those that can't won't. It was just a suggestion

Quote me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure it's down to the bad weather abroad and not brexit

It's one of an ever increasing list of things that's definitely nothibg to do with brexit even though the rest of Europe is not effected

I like pasta in the salad pasta I make. Can give you the recipe if you like? I use it for eork lunch through the week.

I didn't vote so don't blame there's no tomatoes.

I don't particularly like turnips so this doesn't really affect me.
