Is swinging trendy??

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

Last night a guy said that I was only swinging because its trendy. I should say (and those who have met me will confirm this) that trend has no basis on my life whatsoever! I don't think swinging is a trendy thing, its something I do because I enjoy it and a lifestyle I feel I fit in!

What do you all think?

"I have never been trendy, so would have to disagree with your friend."

Just a guy I was talking to on here. I don't do trend! I can't see how something a lot of us keep quiet about can be seen as trendy.

It suits me, that's why I do it.

Not a sheep or a follower of trends.

Morning

I'm not so sure about it being 'Trendy' but I think to a huge number of people it has become 'Handy' or that's what they expect it to be.

I see quite a few profiles saying very little other than "A mate told me about this site, so let's have fun" nothing much to do with discovering a lifestyle, more to do with opportunity.

Is there a difference between trendy and popular? I just woke up and me heads still a bit rambly so I dunno really...

... coffee time I think

i feel that its becoming more popular with more people becoming aware of it due to the media and the internet.. so based on that it could be seen as becoming trendier?

Doubt people would venture into the lifestyle if they had no genuine interest though

Cap d agde,France

Has become fashionable in the last few years..

You see many young couples now at clubs that never play. Most just like to dress up and pose, dance etc.

Not sure if its the same in the uk now.

People over here seem to be more liberal and open.

Trendy is a fashion people do or adhere to or resort to for a short period of time. Judging by your profile you have been on here 4 months which defo makes less trendy than poor old me.

This is my second profile. I've been swinging for just over a year. Couldn't imagine not swinging.
