I’m a bit of a twitcher and love seeing birds, I can sit and watch them and get lost in their world for hours.
What’s your favourite bird that you see regularly?
For me it’s the beautiful goldfinch, and making up the podium would be fieldfares and red kites. |

"I love a hawk or kestrel. Especially when you see that they’ve spotted something in the fields…. And they swoop down.
I wonder if that says something about me psychologically "
I love kestrels, so easy to spot too. I felt a bit jealous of Caspar for being able to tame one. |

I like the friendly little sparrows that flit and tumble around our bird feeders. The gentle pair of collared doves who wait expectantly when the feeders are empty and seem devoted to each other. The raucous magpie who hop and chatter about on the lawn.
My least favourite are the bully boy, thugs that are seagulls |

Starlings are my fave ! Love their little ways! I'm a bit of the local bird woman round here few years back someone knocked on door with a tiny one ! We had him for a year as he imprinted! We named him norbit he said lots of words was amazing didn't realize they are related to myna birds! Lovely little charecter! Love seagulls to know I shouldn't but I feed them daily! One little chap had his foot hanging of then eventually it was gone! I allways look out for him make sure he gets food! Have resident blackbird and Robin in garden! Collard doves that nest every year! Love them all x |

Robins I love. There is a friendly one who visits my bird feeder and garden every day.
I also lone watching the red kites that I see daily flying about here. They are amazing.
A friend of mine had a Harris hawk years ago and he was the most stunning bird up close. |

Long tailed tits. Great little characters, and hang out in little gangs.
Ive named them the 'Beaky Blinders'
Goldfinches, on the other hand, are gobby noisy squabbling pricks |

Oh yes. Red Kites are amazing to watch...aka floating beaky death.
I think it was late last year, me and my sons counted about 23 (they wouldn't stay still so counting them was a nightmare) all circling over a large field just north of town. It looked incredible.
We're lucky we also have common buzzards and kestrels round here too |
