ive looked into that aswell. For BDSM play.
Hope many dont flogg it. Its all a mindset really. Limits and non are a lifestyle and understandings.

Honestly yhe main thing for me is decent lighting.
Nothing worse than not being able to see what you are doing or how their flesh responds.
People think it needs to he dark and dingy, and that might be right for some activities, but not all. |

Personally red and black isn't for me.
When I finally build my dungeon it's going to be light and airy, with lots of luxurious fabrics and textures.
I found a dungeon to rent (in new York unfortunately) that was a warehouse/loft apartment.
It was all big windows with lots of beech wood and white walls etc and it just made me want to hire it to play so badly! |

Well I love rigging so high ceilings for ropework is essential.
Not to mention for me I want to be able to practice some aerial stuff too. |

What areas of play do you prefer?
For example when I am likely to get my act together (or I win the euros and build my dream place)... I'll end up including a soft green, probably something like farrow and ball calke green as as well as it being a softer warmer colour palate...
It wouldn't look out of place with some of the medical play we like to do |

Not into BDSM, so cannot help you with the 'canvas'. But for lighting you should look at the Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance range. The hub can be preprogrammed with scenes so that you can radically change. Paint the room a neutral beige and do the whole thing with lighting: red, green, whatever. Add a microphone and it could even be made to pulse with the strokes. |
