There is a place near where I live that has high walls and gates. Views pretty much all round.
Currently used as a nursery so if the apocalypse is in the night time then it should be empty and if its the day time when it should only be filled with little zombies.
Should have a small food store already.
From there plan the next steps to get out of the city. I always thought find a large boat is the key and only coming a shore when you need food. |

"I think a trip to B&Q to get tooled up with axes and other weapons and to zombie proof a van like something out of the A-team"
I was thinking the same. If you can't make a B&Q zombie proof, you don't deserve to live. Plus there's usually a burger van outside so you are sorted for food.

My work to stock up on Petrol and Diesel, then the army base a couple of miles from there to trade some of that fuel for weapons and ammo…. Or just send the tanker straight in with a brick on the accelerator, then head in and get what I need |

Rookie error there.
DIY stores are all well and good for axes, chainsaws and garden tools appropriate for defence against zombies, but no food bar the odd vending machine.
A better bet is 'The Range'. The big ones have garden and DIY sections for tools, furniture, loads of mirrors you can line up at the front of the shop to confuse the zombies and most important plenty of snacks, sweets, drinks and - for some much needed stress relief - hot tubs!!

The kitchen at work, doubles up as a point of lockdown plus there is enough food in there to survive a zombie apocalypse (as I pointed out to my boss) Nanna Rose (our cook) would need to lock down with me though, she knows how to work it all |

"My bed & hide under the duvet..& hope they think I'm a pillow..."
Well it makes sense. Everyone knows a duvet will protect you from absolutely anything....except an irate parent. (Oh, what is aforementioned parent is now a zombie?). |
