Sunday day dinner booked. It's been ages since we've had a roast dinner. I'm really excited. Who else is looking forward to a good Sunday roast?

Morden

I had roast leg of lamb last week. I've decided to do slow cooker ham in cider today - mainly because I've not had it for ages.

Do love a good roast though.

Mrs Bang Bang would knock over a little old lady to get to get to a Sunday roast.

I'm on the fence. I think they're mostly over rated

I’ll be doing one today. It’s Sunday after all. Pork, I think. Roasted on a bed of apples and onions, rubbed with garlic and sage. Roast potatoes, obviously. Carrots. Sugarsnap peas. Probably a cider gravy. Maaaaybe a cheeky Yorkshire on the side. We’ll see.

"Chestnut & sausage stuffing. "

That’s a good idea. I’ve got chestnuts in the cupboard, I’ll do some of that too.

I always pop a slug of port in the gravy. Might as well have a wee glass at the same time.

I’m with Mrs Bang Bang on this. It’s an epic day, when there’s a roast on the cards.

You, good sir, are incorrect

Somehow I don’t think there’ll be time for cooking when we meet. Can’t imagine why.
