it was the other grandparents making the request as they believed being a swinger made my mental health questionable. Seemed social care agreed. So while she lived with me I didn't go to anything |

That's disgusting and discriminatory. Especially when your activities or outside of the household I can't even see any viable safety risk from other people. Just goes to show we are still unfairly and ignorantly stigmatised. There's still many on here who fear their jobs if there personal life activities were found out. It's really sad.
However I do think it's more normalised now than it has been in the past. I would say the future looks brighter too. If you look at attitudes towards sexual non monogamous, fluid sexuallity and polygamy amongst those in their 20s it seems the youth are a lot more openly open minded. I would say the world is slowly becoming a more enlighten place. |

I don't use tiktok but have viewed its privacy risks as an issue. Many companies have made habits of surveillance and hoovering up any data about us. We are the product, for them to make money out of, however they can, including by sexually themed ads, etc |

That decision of if you were fit to take her on, should have been made by a panel. As such, the panel should have pushed the other grandparents concerns regarding your swinging aside as it has no relevance.
Most panels should have a medically qualified person on them, and this is the sort of thing they should defer to a qualified person to decide on. Swinging is not a sign of mental illness. Any psychiatrist would tell you that. |
