Is it worth just uploading my CV on job sites and recruitment firms ? I know it’s a bit lazy but I don’t have a specific job in mind to apply for atm but looking for hybrid or remote roles ideally. Does anyone have any insight on if it’s going to be worthwhile uploading my CV onto job sites in the meantime and letting people get in touch with me? If so, any advice or tips. Thanks x

Those recruiters can be persistent. One woman phone my five times in one day for a job that didn’t interest me and was nearly half my salary

Its worth a shot but I'd try and be specific with what your looking for otherwise they'll offer you everything they've got on their books.

I've sent you a DM on a couple of things local that you might be interested in

Tailor the CV to the job, read the job specs and fit your skills and experience to match what they want. Go for jobs you want to do; no ome wamts to do a job they dont like.

Be bold and try for jobs you think are out of your reach. Be bold, be confident and be you (as its you that they will employ)

I've employed people with less experience, but who had a spark ans it worked out

you have nothing to lose by doing it so just do it. you never know what may happen but for sure nothing will if you dont.

Only if it’s stuffed full of keywords as humans don’t go through them until Interview. What you will likely find is you will be badly represented for any decent jobs this way and used to fill

Numbers

They just need to hit numbers , thier pay Is based on putting up x number of candidates per position. They are the bottom feeders with the crappiest jobs no one wants

I got my current job this way. However, I knew the type of role I was seeking and my CV was tailored accordingly. I know the agency that contacted me hadn't advertised the role generally as they preferred to seek out candidates initially.

I haven't been looking recently but there used to be good cv advice on total jobs and/or monster that may help.
