Because you can't think of anything interesting to do.
You might be too tired to entertain yourself.
You might be unwell on the sofa, waiting for your delivery or vegetable soup and Lucozade to turn up.

It’s always boring on Thursday, not quite the weekend but almost end of the week.
Used to be my fave climbing night as a youngster didn’t like the Friday morning at work especially if I’d got lucky the Thursday night.
Turned up many a time for work in the gear I’d worn the night before smelling of cheap perfume. |
