I am enough
When you look in the mirror
The mirror of self doubt
The reflection of you looking at me
You have that feeling of not being enough
Flawed by society the media your peer
You feel not worthy not fitting their design
They tell you that you need this and that to shine
When that reflection looks back at you
Tell it you love it that’s it the best you
Self love we’re told is vanity and ego
Learn to love yourself as you love others
You’re worth it all and so much more
Love your self to the core
If you can not love yourself with no fear
Then how can you love those you hold dear
Forget the bullshit that you don’t fit
Ignore that blemish stray hair or zit
Society tells us how we should be
It’s bullishit and lies that feeds wet eyes
Wipe those tears and say to yourself
I am enough for me and for you
The you is your inner self l
Self love self care make them be
The number one thing top priority
I AM ENOUGH |

I don't feel like I'm not enough.
I feel like I haven't found my person yet and I'm so fucking tired of looking.
I settled before from a sense of, this is what's next... must tick this box, and it was a disaster. So I'm never settling again.
But what's the alternative?
This sucks too.
Life is hard.
Usually I'm one who just puts their shoulder to the hard days and pushes through to the better days on the other side.
But I'm tired.
I've finally hit my brick wall. |

Can I be that person who thinks it’s nice that others have a day like today to get all soppy if they want to, and don’t feel anything negative about not being included in that and don’t feel that i want or need to take part?
Every day people on my life do things that I don’t do. Very often I do thins that others don’t.

The age old mentality of "if it's meant to be, it will be" deluded peoples into believing that love and romance isn't hard choices and work. You WILL meet the right person, you'll probably meet a lot of them. But one will stick, the nervous awkward graft of developing romance haha |

If I got given a sip of his drink to taste because he knew I'd love it.... that's connection and intimacy and familiarity
If he got me a random bar of chocolate because it's not sold everywhere and he knew how much I loved it....
It's the no expense bar the thought and effort and connection that I appreciate |

I feel you on this. Maybe through different experiences but the resulting feeling is the same.
It is draining and feels like being torn yet being tired has you in a constant yet changing view on what you want or deserve. |

I realized a long time ago that me as l am is absolutely perfect for me , l don't give two fucks that others may think otherwise, l will not sell myself short again or bend over backwards for others so that they can kick me in the nuts,if...now that's a big IF..l meet someone that has the same scars as me and wants to put each others hearts together again there's absolutely no problem but until then ..as the song says ..." Tbh yesterday was quite literally just another day - except we all got sweets at work - which I gave to the little boy next door.
I didn’t - and never do - mope around feeling rubbish because I’m not in a relationship with a chap.
