Bit of advice then, you need to be pro active. As with most things in life, effort put in often equals the rewards reaped. Shyness and being a swinger aren't over compatible in my book. Honestly OP just read through this thread, and not trying to have a go, but you just come across as entitled…
2 lines on your profile, a rinse and repeat selection of cock pictures, not willing to travel far (in a county that demands it), had what a lot of guys would consider to be plenty of meets, unsatisfied with a webcam meet, won’t go to a local social event.
We would, and have, met guys from York even just for socials, so it is possible. You just have to be willing to try harder and stop complaining.

Its actually 985 men to 1 woman according to the latest moray poll and they are mostly in the northern hemisphere, so unless you have abs, tatts and a personality your chances of getting a meet here are negligible.  |

OP the ratios have always been single guy top heavy. Always.
But that is the what stops all men getting meets.
Those that know how best to portray themselves and engage with others will do better than others.
You haven't asked for profile advice so I won't give any. But I know many single guys who do well. Very well. The kind that would never have to complain about how hard life on Fab is.
Certain things work in someone's favour and others work against them. The key is minimising the latter.

Hi op. The last time I did a mini survey on the forums - which was several years ago - there were 10 time more men than women.
Many guys do themselves no favours though. Having a fairly blank ‘shadow’ profile - or one with mostly/all cock pics will appeal only to other men - not women.
I never open messages where the profile pic is a silhouette or a cock - and neither do many other women. Simply putting effort into your pics and profile text - and attending group socials to get yourself known - will make a huge difference.
However - many guys prefer to have a whine rather than put the effort in.

If you lived in a different location you’d still have the same issue - nothing to do with York at all.
I’d say the bare back pics with different women and your sole focus on your cock are where your problem lies. And not much effort put into your profile.
