A bit left field for a forum post.
I suffer from severe depression and a couple of months back I hit a serious low and attempted to take my life. That same evening all I had as an outlet was on here.
Long story short, I'd like to thank 2 people for trying to help me (1 lady especially). Forgive me for forgetting your names and forgive me for my negativity and for any turmoil I may have burdened you with.
I'm positive that there would be thanks from my family too, if they knew.

Hi OP. Wow, what a story! I am so very, very glad you are still with us.
I don’t know who it was either, but bravo to those kind individuals. I’ve found that, when people are truly in need, this forum community can be a wonderful, kind, supportive place.
I won’t ask questions so as to delve into your circumstances publicly, but I hope you are getting the support you need in life.

Hopefully you are feeling a lot better in yourself?...
I have found it's sometimes easier to talk to people you aren't connected to...
The Samaritans are great for this..
Struggled with my mental health for 40 years now...
I always try & turn a negative thought into a positive one..
Sending you lots of positive vibes..

I have Cyclothymia (mild form of bi polar) and there is specialised forums for mental health needs. |

I can't imagine what you have and are going through.
I am really glad to see after reading what you were going through that you are here with us.
I don't know who the people you speak of are but thank God that there are good people around. People who really take the time to care.
OP you would seem to be in a better place than previously and I wish you continued success in your recovery xx |

I had a few issues several months back also with my own mental health along with my brother who has suffered your many years with mental health
I went to my dr who referred me local team who turned out to be worse than useless
My brother tried to take his own life 3 times in this period of my life until and mental health team still did very little to help him
In my case I chatted with few people on here and sure enough I came out the other side
So there is I massive thank you from me too
Op so glad you’re doing better now
I do and sure you appreciate the good hearts of the people on these forums
