… all china’s fault!!… bear with me!
The Americans shoot down the Chinese spy balloon… then in all the furores afterwards the American shoot down “something” over Alaska
Imagine it just happened to be “Marvin the Martian” or something similar…. We could have had a 2001 moment! First time contact!!
But no… the aliens try first contact, they shoot it down… declaration of war on earth and it goes all Independence Day!!!

That reminds me of a choose your own adventure book I read as a child. You were the aliens coming to earth, and if you chose to land in America you were shot dead as you were being beamed down, before you could even say anything. Even at that age it felt fairly accurate |

Can’t believe they turned up just a few days after the bigger balloon…. Imagine if they had been scouting for a bit and thought “well if we shape shift into this they won’t take any notice of it!”  |

That is what is odd. They sent F 35s to investigate and shoot it down. The haven't said the identity of the craft. Protocol is usually visual identification first. Just in case it's not a civilian aircraft flying with IFF off. |

Oh well… we will have to see what the aliens response is…. They are probably saying we are not civilised enough and won’t come back for a few hundred years!!!

Now the Canadians are shooting down objects… and they are never mad at anyone… no one hates Canada!!!

It’s all just balloon drones. They’ve tweaked the radar, and discovered loads of them.
There will be a flurry of shooting them down over the next wee while and then the arms race will continue in another direction.
There are also drone boats and subs. One washed up on the west coast of Scotland recently. |

The most recent one i think was shot down at 40,000 ft - if so that put it extremely close, too close in fact, to civilian aircraft cruising altitudes and hence i think thats why it was eliminated.

I think the aliens must be confused as fuck as to what shape then need to not get shot down… the original one was a circular thing.. then the next two were cylindrical.. and one yesterday was more cubed based….
