It's a quiet one this evening.
I've been busy this evening setting up some fangled •WiFi• devices around the home, speakers, thermostats and whatnots.
How was your day today? Greetings to Lørna too. |

I know the point has been made ad infinitum on the socials…and I know I am showing my age…but the LeBron all time points record photo with 98% of people trying to capture the occasion on their phone is the epitome of this. Why do people go to so many occasions (sporting, musical, whatever) just to spend more time trying to get it on their phone to put it on their insta, instead of just immersing themselves in the occasion?! I mean, each to their own, you pay for the ticket, you enjoy it how you like, but are you really enjoying it if you’re waiting for that perfect pic to post on your social media? |

I would love to go to the Ryder Cup and even got into the ballot but the tickets were so damn expensive. I will be watching it wall to wall as usual. I love golf. I’m not sure who will win the superbowl this year. Too close to call between the Eagles and the Chiefs tbh.
If I had to pick a team it would be Miami Dolphins but that is purely down to Ace Ventura and “laces out”
Love it though and the half time show will be right up my street as Rihanna is my ultimate crush |

Some friends of mine went to Ryder a few years ago and I was a bit jealous but I maintain, with all the matches going on, it’s better watched on TV (with the caveat of being there on the first morning, or the last [winning] afternoon would probably make that a stupid statement).
It’s the Chiefs’ to lose IMO, the NFC isn’t as strong as the AFC, but that means nothing on the day. And I went to Orlando in the early 90s so I’m a child of the Marino generation - fins up!

You know when you get to a certain age, and you’re generally inured to “celebrities” because, well, you’re a grown up, but then someone dies and you feel unreasonably sad? Yeah, that was Warnie. I’m a Hampshire fan so there’s that, but it was the passing of a sporting legend that hit me |

How is your clock darling?

My clock is always hungry. It keeps going back 'four' seconds.
Why 4 seconds?.....

Because it wants more food. It's asking for seconds (helpings).
I get it now!
Glad you’re all caught up Ash

How about the British Grand Prix then?
I have been once...I couldn't hear anything for 3 days after though
That’s the point! It is absolutely epic to watch though
I did enjoy the live experience
I know the point has been made ad infinitum on the socials…and I know I am showing my age…but the LeBron all time points record photo with 98% of people trying to capture the occasion on their phone is the epitome of this. Why do people go to so many occasions (sporting, musical, whatever) just to spend more time trying to get it on their phone to put it on their insta, instead of just immersing themselves in the occasion?! I mean, each to their own, you pay for the ticket, you enjoy it how you like, but are you really enjoying it if you’re waiting for that perfect pic to post on your social media?
