How can it be a need?
What harm would come to you if you never had any form of sexual interaction (either alone or with others) ever again?
All these people belly aching that they haven’t had sex in a while have no idea about what true deprivation is!  |

On the flip side, those with a sex addiction may not want to have sex but need to in order to feed their addiction. |

I don't need sex. It's well down my list of priorities. I've gone 10 years with no sexual contact at all so a few days, weeks or months now is just a blip.
As to whether it's a want or not that depends entirely on my mood. I certainly don't want sex just for the sake of it. |
