with the moon n stars somewhere in gtr manc

Went shopping today and was just mooching at the make up in debenhams and ended up getting my make up done. For nothing.

I loved it! And she didnt make me look like a bad drag act either!

Never had it done before and dont wear a lot, but those who fancy a free pamper treat should go n get it done.

Dont want to wash it off now.

There's no obligation to buy anything, but did treat myself

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Debenhams are really good for that. I tend to mooch there when I have a night out planned.

Origins are good for a quick face pampering too, with no hard sell.

North of The Wall - youll need your vest

Ive had it done a couple of times and HAVE ended up looking like a drag-artist!

I have very pale eyebrows and they always try to draw them in, saying it will look really natural.

It doesnt

I did have my eyebrows threaded in Debenhams once. Felt daft though with everyone walking past!

I learnt how to apply make-up by volunteering to be a practice model at a make-up school a long time ago.

Well worth the 2 hours I had spare at the time, as I still practice what I had learnt all those years ago.

Something I have been offered in many places but I feel the women behind the counters are an extremely bad advert for the brand they work for, often caked in make up, bad skin and fake looking!

I am lucky or have had good skills for a number of years and also do my friends

I keep meaning to do this! I'm going out Saturday night so might pop in debenhams before they close so I don't have to do it myself!

Body Shop occasionally do this sort of makeover too. I have a tried and tested "face" that I've used for years but I tweak it if I have a makeover. As I only ever wear tinted moisturiser I always insist on that on beauty counters rather than foundation
