Under the Duvet

I got told off recently for sticking a fork in my toaster to retrieve stuck toast.

Yes I know its dangerous and I know its stupid, but I still did it!

What have you done recently that is dangerous and stupid? Or even stupid and dangerous?

Or just stupid?

I climbed a 30 foot dead tree yesterday with a chainsaw and cut it down. Almost fell out the tree a couple of times

I told some people things I probably shouldn’t after Tea Monkey’s truth-or-truth thread on the forums yesterday.

local, but not too local

I used to have a bad habit of going free-solo climbing.

I’m a reformed adrenaline junkie.

My electric grill set on fire when I was cooking so I threw water on it. My husband went mad at me, surely one of the major lessons you learn in life is that electric and water don't go together.

I once crossed the road as the cars weren't moving even though I knew it would probably go green soon.

And one fucker still purposely drove into me at like 2 mph. Fucker.

Manchester-ish

The last one I got away with was stripping wallpaper on the stairs using a 'modified' step ladder.

Here ...

I was repairing my roof once and when I finished I was stepping onto the ladder and it slipped ... ended up hanging onto the gutter as the ladder crashed to the ground.

I was there for a minute or so when the gutter started to creak so I took my chances and let go landing on the flat roof above my bay window

I was lucky that day ... needless to say that the roof has been completely replaced since and I bought a roof ladder and new extended ladder so I can transfer more safely should I need to in future.
