Just (1) number 'age' wise.
Above that person that you 'like' on (Fab...).
But, you can not message that person, or, even send that person a 'wink'
Because, of their 'age' settings that person has put onto the profile, lol.  |

It'll get to the point people would just have to put 18-99

Found a stunning girl near me, our interests perfectly lined up and I was sooo up for it but I was just 1 year out. It hurt, but I removed her from my hotlist. 1 year, might as well be 20. Proud of myself for that one (her loss). |

It's just a reasonable way to filter responses and searches. As an (ahem) older member the filters help me identify people who "might" be interested in myself. |
