Worst one yet - ghosted and timewasted by a couple (although it's most probable only one of the couple was involved) with FIFTEEN veri's.

Well some people believe veris are 100% reliable...
Have they been online?
We were once ghosted a few days before the meet. He reappeared a few days later and said he'd fallen off scaffolding so couldn't message as he was in hospital. 
We met him a couple of weeks later and he still had the bruises. Sometimes shit happens. And he was a brilliant shag.  |

But on the OP, I don't think there's any cast iron guarantee with anyone, but I still think the good peeps vastly outweigh the bad. That's my experience anyway. |

"Everyone has the right to back out of a meet at any time and for any reason and do not owe anyone an explanation. Simple."
If someone has arranged a meet and changed their mind, they should at least let the other person/ people know. It's incredibly rude if they don't.
If there was an emergency they could let them know later. |

Can you give us your definition of 'timewasted' and 'ghosted' ?
I'm assuming the latter means they've just cut contact dead and/or blocked you, but as for the timewasting side of thing - that's open to wide interpretation.
Maybe it was something you said? Maybe they've actually done nothing wrong and just changed their mind? As for the 15 veris? How recent was the newest one?
We've cut people dead before based on something they've said, an activity they suggested or just because the tone of conversation has changed to something that puts us off. Usually we'll send a 'sorry we've changed our mind' message (before blocking) but not always.
Everyone can change their minds - even you OP.

If you ghost someone it shows a lack of respect and lack of basic communication skills. It's simple to say you've changed your mind or not interested anymore and everyone moves on no harm done. |

The issue is, maybe they were liking you because of some specific reasons, and then you said something to counter that.
For example, Mrs has a very specific type of meet she enjoys, no matter how good the conversation is going, if you went down the wrong path, she'd lose interest. Sometimes it's like "oh can't be bothered to reply now and say no" then before you know it, you've got 250 new messages above in your inbox and that conversation is in the distant past.
It's no lie when women say they get hundreds of messages. If she has a status on her profile, it can easily generate 2-300 messages in an evening.

I just don't get it..... You have to talk to people to establish if you are compatible... Is that time wasting? And then stopping the conversation when you know its not for you - surely that is precisely because you don't want to time waste? |
