I would check for any signs of life, just in case there was anything I could do. Phone emergency services. Definitely not start going through pockets, let the Police look for ID.
I would stay until emergency services arrived and give a statement. |

"What type of person are you .
You find a dead body
Do a check if has any money on it.
Do you call the police
Or do you get the fuck out of there
Quick "
Is this a post for the Americans ghettos?
Surely everyone not hardened to death/murder would call emergency services? |

Years ago I did actually find a dead body, I rang an ambulance and waited till they got there and spoke to the police when they turned up. Turned out the poor man had had a heart attack. |

I think I will return to the Virus topic at least it’s remotely relevant?
The issue is if you answer I would steal from a mortally injured person are you not immediately cast out into the fab wilderness? |

Call for help, get someone to ring 999/ring myself and start CPR - compressions only if necessary. If there was anyone else around, ask them to find a defib and bring it to me. Wait for the paramedic and police to arrive. |

If the body looks very recent, call an ambulance, if not, the police. As the discoverer of the body, I would almost certainly be treated as a suspect if it was murder/manslaughter. But suspicion would be far worse if it was to come out I'd seen it and decided to pretend I'd seen nothing. |

Me and my mates found a dead bloke face down in a Brooke when we were kids
Run to the nearest house who didn’t believe us
So run to my mates house who’s dad came down to check our story
Police came round an hour or so later to unofficially officially interview us all
Never heard anything else about it |

I would rush home and get my handgun that has been used for many a hit/ contract killings
Wipe it clean
Cover it in fingerprints from the body and put it into their pocked or waist band

No I highly doubt placing checking for a pulse would be seen as self incriminating, moreso being human, advances in DNA and police work would notice the difference between fingers placed on a pulse point and causing the issue whatever it maybe.

Speaking from experience, driving back from Walsall on the pleck rd, I passed what I thought was a collapsed person on the footpath. I pulled in, and went to check them out, this was about midday with other people about. But I was the only person to go and check on him initially.
I had no idea how long he'd been there, but after ascertaining that he wasn't breathing, I began CPR.
Then that's when others noticed and gathered, and someone called for the medics.
Anyhow once they arrived and assessed him, it was apparent that he had passed awhile before I arrived.
So rather than checking him for cash, I choose to give CPR to a corpse. And quite frankly I'd do it again, if the situation arose.

This is more like it...good effort.
However, i wouldn't hire you. Using the same weapon for each hit?? Schoolboy error.
But, on the flip side...you use a handgun. So obviously like to get close. More risk, and more an insight into your psyche |

You raise a good point at first I thought it would be a man
Then I thought I'd leave it up to the forum as to what sex they discover
I'd not thought of their gender fulidity as had not thought it relevant them been dead .but you offer up a new avenue of investigation of the case .and the person finding thoughts and actions |

Quite correct on the schoolboy error bit..should never be the same one. And just to add always a revolver, NEVER an automatic as the empty shell casings fly all over the bloody place and are a bastard to find....

Ahhh, i can see you've put thought into this.
Good drills.
And another glimpse into your MO.
You used the term "shell casings flying all over".
Suggestions not only do you like to be up close and personal...but you have a preference for unloading all your rounds into the 'target'. Rather than a clean one-shot kill. You're hired.

OK further information its a dead body defernatly. Dead we haven't checked its genitailia we don't know if its a man or a woman you can pick .we don't know of its a sexual fulidity or name preference.
What you going to do if your the one finding it best answers so far chop it up and eat it .and put a gun in its hand and to fool the police and cover up your other murders . |

"Call an ambulance, grab a defib and get it on and start cpr process."
Joking aside, guys, (oh god, there's always one, isnt there!!) before you do ANYTHING...check for any futher danger to you or the casualty/victim.
You don't want to become a casualty/victim too.
Possibly items falling overhead?
Electrocuted?
A mysterious FAB member lurking behind a door/tree with his revolver?
Remember, DR'S ABC
D - further risk to you/casualty
R - Response from the casualty
S - Shout for help/999
A - Airways
B - Breathing
C - Circulation
And thats, forumites, is how you kill the mood on a thread!!
Ps...sorry OP |

Depends how long the body has been there, if it's warm, call an ambulance, but if it's putrefied or been there for decades, then call the police and coroner. There is a proper procedure for archaeologists, when digging up bodies. |
