I have a 4.5 tog & I have several matching duvet sets, so in the colder months, I put one or two extra empty covers over the top for warmth

I'm in a fully insulated house, so it really doesn't cool down much over night. So 4.5 tog for winter, and just the duvet cover in summer.

Haven't used a duvet for a few years now, as get too hot during the night. I use sheets and a blanket instead.

I'm very particular about my covers. I have 4.5 for summer and a 10.5 for winter, and both if its very cold. They're down pockets with cotton exterior.

I have 100% cotton sheets and pillowcases.
