Has anyone been to see the Classic Rock Show ? They are brilliant, a cross between a tribute band and a show. They do well known rock songs and they perfectly play/sing as the original band did. I've seen them recently and am going again in march, they are excellent ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

I think it's well worth it, i loved it, i sang to every song much to the 'joy' of everyone around us
We saw them in Leicester and i've now bought tickets for Nottingham.
The age range of the audience was mostly my age or older, my other half was one of the youngest people there he loved the show too. |

I love so many bands, many of whom I couldn't pick because I never saw them live...Led Zep, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Velvet Underground.
Of the bands I've seen live: Arctic Monkeys were chaotic fun, Jarvis was an incredible frontman, White Stripes had awesome energy, The Libertines brought such emotion, Animal Collective were musically astounding, Belle and Sebastian utterly wonderful, REM were a dream fulfilled...
But for a combination of all these, and an unswerving commitment to being utterly protean and challenging themselves and their fans - Radiohead. |

"Too many to single one out. I tend to go through phases of my 'go to' bands. Currently into:
The Black Keys and the late great Rory Gallagher."
Rory is my all-time favourite guitar player, one of the only ones were his playing is so unique you know it's him straight away ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |
