Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I'm not up to concentrating this evening so I am watching the 50 facts programme on diet and exercise.

It's mostly what you would expect but then they throw in Jock Itch Joggers Trots and the fact that the gym is the best place to pick up people.

Fruit and veg is now less nutritious than it used to be 50 years ago. So, as well as eating junk the good stuff is not as good for us as it used to be.

"I just saw that! in a few more years none of it will have any nutrition left at all the way its going"

I think it was the most shocking fact on the programme. The rest I sort of knew about (not Jock Itch and Joggers Trots, though ).

its a great place to stop and have a chat.

some of the women who do there workout before they start work are always up for a coffee and chat.

i love real butter too on toast crumpets etc - on a sandwich i prefer to thinly spread mayo or salad cream , or cranberry jelly rather than butter or marg - if you have sufficient salad or really nice bread can do without

The only food fact I can think of at the moment is. Proper butter tastes lovely as it drips out of a chip butty, and runs down your chin

I don't understand the chip butty. Proper butter is better than just about anything.

I know they didn't give this as the 'fact' but I am feeling vindicated that the Daily Mail is bad for your health. 900 health stories a year!!!!

When I was younger I used to know dancers and actors who would eat tissues to keep their weight down and stop the hunger pangs.

Diets aren't rubbish, people are. Diets work fine if you do it right. People are just crap at sticking to anything. New Year's Resolutions tend to fail before the end of January.

Just goes to show the lengths people will goto.

The physics behind losing weight are easy really,

its not complicated in theory.

Just consistency and will power are the hard bit

Did you just watch this programme ?

Assuming your a nutritionist, fitness expert or doctor as these people were ?

Only diet you need is a clean balanced diet, thats what people can't stick to,because many of us like saturated fat and sugar.
