It's actually quite good, surprisingly. Watched it in cinema first, without beers and actually got quite emotional considering the Chadwick Boseman thing |

As long as the girls night was great then I am sure the orchid will forgive you.
I seem to have succumb to a few alcoholic beverages and spent 10 minutes writing this trying to get it right so obviously not merry enough  |

Lessons learned early in life. Stick to the drink you start with. Avoid mixers other than ice/water. Don't mix colours, such as red and white wine or stout and lager.
Drink a pint of water before bed.
I haven't had a hangover in 20yrs when I stuck to these rules |

There was a lovely thread on Twitter the other day started by the marvellous Laura Barton, about the most middle-class injuries. Hers was when, whilst preparing an Ottolenghi meal, a hot mustard seed flew into her eye from the pan.
Other superb contenders included cutting fingers whilst opening a jar of pomegranate molasses and, I think my favourite, someone leaning over an open-flame gas stove whilst wearing an Alexander McQueen skull scarf around her throat, which promptly caught fire, sending tiny ashen skulls flying up into the ventilator like a picture of the Last Judgement.
(I may have embellished the last one a little, in my artsy-fartsy way.) |

Having a few sherbets, getting a bit punchy, then having a go at a poor defenceless Orchid.
You wouldn't have been so chopsy if it had been a Cactus, would you.
Now go and say 5 Hail Marys, and cleanse your soul. |
