There's so many, but have you ever heard one and enjoyed it before you even knew it was a soundtrack to a film? Maybe you think it stands up alone without the association of the movies it/s attached to... |

I have the top gun soundtrack on cassette and vinyl, keeping it old school there.
More recently I love the soundtrack to the remake of a star is born! Have seen lukas Nelson live a few times who I think wrote a lot of them. And is Bradley coopers bandmate in the film. |

The soundtrack to original Blade Runner by Vangelis never grows old.
It's great to have sex to as well. An old fuck buddy said he bought the CD so he could play it and reminds him of our times together... |

"To add; by film soundtrack I mean like one that's actually titled or has lines etc. in the words related to the film"
So you mean tie in songs?
Like
Spiderman 2's Hero - Chad Kroger (feat Josey Scott)
Deadpool 2's Ashes - Celine Dion
Ghostbusters
Men in black
Come with me (godzilla)
Take my breath away (top gun)
Etc
You get the idea, or any song used in a movie?
I'm assuming soundtrack and not the musical score of a movie too? |

Tron legacy by daft punk is one of the best soundtracks as it really fitted the film, the second blade runner 2049 didn’t disappoint either, paid real homage to the first film in terms of sound, can watch it again and again |

"Take your pick from the Rocky films.
Usually acccompanied by a training montage
Everyone loves a training montage."
Someone badly needs to create a 'training montage' of someone's experience using fab.

I heard a few of the drive movie soundtracks a few years before I even seen the film. |

Team America: World Police includes an awesome song about a montage.
But my soundtrack suggestion is Baby Driver. |

"Young Guns 2, Jon Bon Jovi
Amarageden, Aerosmith
The last of the Mohicans
Gladiator
Pirates of the Caribbean
Terminator 2 GnR
Goodfellas (restaurant scenes)"
With Goodfellas, my favourite track has to be My Way by Sid Vicious. |

"Queens it's a kind of magic from highlander "
A great album indeed, One Vision was also used in Iron Eagle and made a great song for the dogfight scenes |

Any soundtrack by Thomas Newman is a corker and I have bought CDs of many of his...
Road to Perdition
Shawshank Redemption
American Beauty
Finding Nemo
Wall-E
Revolutionary Road
... All of them are just beautiful |

One that springs to mind. We don't need another hero by Tina Turner, I didn't know for a long time that was a soundtrack, this no doubt is due in part to me being born after it's release...
Awesome track though, like all of hers are to me. |

I realised another last eve; there's a bond song that's not obvious as to which film it's from too, carly Simon no body does it better |
