I'm very glad to see the back of the past year. I lost to many loved ones and it was just a struggle. So I'm looking onwards and upwards for the next year.
It's also for me three years to the day that my mum passed away. So I have mixed feelings on this day. However this was always my mums favourite day. So maybe that's why she hung on to see in one last new year.
So this year is all about the positives. No more feeling sorry for those I've lost. Just because they are gone doesn't mean I am meant to be down. My daughter is taking the same stance as this time last year we were both saying goodbye to her dad.
So this is going to be a good year. I refuse to have it any other way. |
