New years resolution...... here's a simple one for everyone to do that will make the streets a cleaner place. carry a plastic bag in your pockets at all times and if you see some dog poo left by some inconsiderate ahole then bag it and bin it. I know its not your responsibility but you have seen it and the next person might not be so lucky!! |

was just a thought, hopefully you are lucky enough to never trod in any.....
if you do see it and avoid it spare a thought for the visually impaired or people not looking where they are going.
maybe it should just request that dog owners carry an extra bag or two |

"I choose not to own a dog because the thought of picking up Shit makes me want to vomit. Why on earth should I pick up Shit that doesn't belong to a dog I own???"
I'm the same, I see people walking their dogs in the pissing rain and freezing cold picking up shit in a sandwich bag and think 'ill pass'
Lovely idea tho, if you've got the stomach for it x |

"I pick up bottles and the like and place them into the bin, but I'm not becoming 'That weird bloke that collects dog shit' in my town. "
don't think you need to make a collection, you can throw it in bin |

probably not.... if they are dumb enough not to clean it up they probably can't write their address |

"This cannot be a serious post?
OP, I take it you already do this regularly?
I shall pass thank you (and that's the polite version of what came out of my mouth when I read this) "
It is a serious post although not well received...... was just a simple suggestion to make the streets a better place. I will be doing it from tomorrow morning. BIG SOCIETY |

Years ago a nieghbor across the road used to let thier dog out every morning, and it had a fondness for crapping on our front garden, after repeatedly speaking to the owner about this and nothing being done, we pick up the poo and put it on thier front door step, they soon got the message
We clean up after shirley pup, thank go she a miniture _orkie
Perhaps op can take up poo cleaning up one step further, and clran up after the horses that crap on the roads and pvements, just a thought |

No chance. You couldn't pay me enough to do that, so no way I'd do it voluntarily. Besides, I have noticed in my local area far less dog poop on the streets and far fewer stray dogs than there used to be. These days its something of a rarity. |

This is my first proper laugh of the year. Brilliant
I can imagine you with a rucksack full of shit patrolling the streets of Ipswich.
Bet you will be able to identify the dog soon.
I will name that dog in 2 sniffs |

In Paris they have cool pooper scooper scooters ... It's a guys job to go around on a scooter vacuuming up dog poo. Fab idea!
Better idea to carry a bag in your pocket and give it to the dog owner when you spot an offender 'excuse me I think you dropped something!' Is usually the line I use. |

Yeah but come-on folks think of the possible benefits,,,,,
after-all carrying around a steaming hot bag of dog shite could be great way to keep your hands warm if you’ve forgotten your gloves…. |

A great idea if only everyone would join in the streets would look so much better. |

Not exactly the road to go down without lawfull authority.
At best it could end up with plod getting involved if someone takes a hissy fit over you "capturing their likeness without consent"
At worst it could be a fast track to the hospital food menu courtesy of one of the great unwashed with their regulation staffy/pitbull/akita/mastiff etc |

Unfortunately You and I are in the minority here, you are the only one out of forty plus to agree, most others attitude is leave it to someone else. Before you all jump down my throat I do know it is the dog owners responsibility or the council, or people on community service or the unemployed could do it..... The fact is that it doesn't happen and this was just a simple suggestion to make the streets a better place.
May you all have a dog poo free year!! |

Don't be disheartened Luce... one has to know one's market/customers.
This is a swingers site. Offer free perverted sex and they will snatch your hands off.
Ask them to clean up dog shit and they are not too willing. Amazing I know but for some funny reason they just won't do it.
Why not join a Dog shit Volunteer Forum. You'd get tons of help there.
Come to think of it. Why not START one.
