Nice enough scoff, even when I informed the staff that we had a voucher for a free 3 course lunch. The quality was just as good as a paid for one. That hasn’t always happened in my experience. |

"Yeah fine. Better when they have a deal on. I do quite enjoy the lettuce wedge. "
Do you? About half that amount on your plate would be fine. No one needs a ruddy great bowl of lettuce when they have steak |

I find it quite palate cleansing. It is drizzled in the stilton sauce though. |

Been to two different ones. Can't complain about either, but oddly I've never had a steak there. I found their lunchtime menus very good value, and good food. |

As an avid business traveller across the world and foodie who enjoys cuisine from many nations - I would class miller & carter as the best of the worst.
The steaks are nothing special and extremely over priced. But then again we don’t have much competition and choice in this country.
If you think it’s a snobby outlook - trust me a £8 seasoned Asda extra special ribeye for two and half minutes on extremely hot pan finished with butter and sliced garlic - is ten times better than miller and carter. |

"I have no idea what it is.
It’s a chain of steak restaurants. They’ve taken over a lot of old Harvesters.
Ah thankyou, Is Harvester no more then. "
I miss Harvester for the breakfast buffet |

"Was nice when we went, expensive but what steak house isn't?
Probably a bit over rated but was nice to try.
Miss S x"
This. When the lettuce wedge novelty wears off I’ll probably be less bothered. But I’ve always had a good steak there. |

Harvester are still going though incsome areas they have moved, and the premises they've vacated then get taken over by other companies, such as Miller & Carter |

I agree. If I fancy steak, I cook it at home rather than have it out. The last steak I really enjoyed out was in the US, Dallas. |

Wasn't impressed with our local one.
Overpriced and everything apart from the steak was so salty it was barely edible.
I'm not inclined to try any others, would rather eat at Wetherspoons. At least you know what to expect and it's well priced. |

I would agree actually. Hubby cooks a great steak.
There's some excellent restaurants that are worth every penny. In my opinion Miller and Carter isxa waste of my hard earned cash. |
