There is a cold and cough bug going around which is also leaving people with a sore throat have my workmates have it, also some of the residents. Its horrible as our residents are non verbal so can't tell us how they are feeling. The noro virus is doing the rounds big time. I've just finished a 28 hour shift have a runny nose bad cough. Don't want to be ill again as was ill earlier in dec for my birthday. |

Mine started a week before Xmas, cold flu like symptoms then Friday before massive temps and got worse.
Xmas eve at the docs, got a chest infection, gave me some antibiotics, well that was me laid up in bed all Xmas day and the 3 days after, could not breath, thought Xmas day I was going to hospital.
Just been back to docs today, more antibiotics some steroids and an inhaler, on the mend but soooo slowly.
Not been this ill since my bone marrow transplant 22 years ago.

Yes he is, not only does he hace Coeliac Disease today he was told he had a "Formaldehyde Allergy" can it get any better?
Reduced to only having Vodka and 7up now. |

Came down with the flu bug on Christmas eve (Mr T) spent most of Christmas day in bed felt like crap all week now have the cough and loads of cold sores haven’t had a bug like this for bloody years…..at the moment unsure if we are going to venture out tonight…..Wishing all a happy New Year for 2013……
