How many views have you got?

41 so far.. can’t say we watch the number but it’s usually over 100 in a day. Goes crazy if we post new pics and vids but we don’t seem to get too many messages or winks  |

Fun to know?
Seriously, I never got the need to know how many people veiwed my profile, never mind knowing how many people look at other people.

I’m not really sure in the point of it either. If they looked and didn’t wink/message then I’m either not what they’re looking for or they’re just having a quick nose while busy with other stuff.

That’s why I never look. I see the number, but the only way I know I feel involved is with conversation.
And that’s why I think anyone who belittles the wink button is missing a trick, it more if a certain, ‘I looked and liked’.type of thing. Or at least it is for me |

Completely agree, but I think it’s a case of context. If I’m attractive/popular/interesting/desirable or whatever and getting messages, winks can become superfluous. Almost an irritation.
For those of us who are not so popular or are shy/flirty and appreciate a wink, they can be a great way of initiating contact. |

I'm the opposite. I don't see the point of a wink. If you want to look at me, great, look: I like being looked at. If you want to talk with me, great, message: I like chatting.

Ah but if no one looks at your profile then no one is going to take the very next step of winking or messaging are they? Especially non forum contributors. Quite literally no traffic equals no action and surely the action is the whole point? |

Ugh! Because it’s a flirty little nudge. As someone who gets precious little unsolicited attention on fab, I’ll take it as a positive. I don’t feel looks without action are positive *at that moment in time*. It may, of course, become interest in the future, but I’ll take that if or when it comes. |
