Depends I grow up here
But the place has a very bad reputation for being rought and a shit hole
And known for fighting and such and other bad things
And not just one area off the place it’s the hole place
But mind you it’s a village I stay it
But again I grow up here so I don’t find it that way
also find people outside the place treat you differently
Ooo whare are you from bl bl bl bl
Fuck that that place is a shit hole
Wouldn’t bother saying anything to him or cusing trubble with that one they from bl bl bl he’s a doge one
But to me it’s a Normal place as sed I grow up here
But will say being from a rought place I don’t find anywhere scary or anything like that

T loves the house we live in. I’ve fallen out of love with it. Can’t afford to do what needs doing to it (or what I would like to do to it) so making do for now. It’s a good sized family house, the perfect area, has everything we need but our needs will be changing later this year…..
I’ve found a house I’d like to move to but more money for far less square metres - the market is nuts!!! |

"Do you love where you live?
Love is a strong word but it's been okay so far.
Good area? Yes, not bad.
Is it where you wanted to settle?
It works for location purposes
Where would you change location too if you could?
Cornwall
So many questions "

I live my county, I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
The town I currently live in is okay, not the most exciting but quite pretty, it was where I could afford at the time.
Would love to move closer to the coast in the future |

No.
Current location is all very circumstantial (for my career).
Home, one day, will be near the coast, whether that be the north east or south coast. Water brings me a lot of peace. |

Yes, absolutely adore our village. I’m originally from Manchester, I wanted somewhere safer to raise our children and we love it! Fully integrated into village life and duck races/scarecrow festivals etc

It's really quite cute. Villagey. Ruralish. Beautiful countryside, lovely woods opposite.
It's not where I ever saw myself settling. I always thought I'd live in Cults to be honest.
In about four years, I'd like to buy a house in a town further North. Fallen in love with a particular road, which is daft isn't it? It's a lovely town. And far more going on then where I am at the moment. |

I'm looking at places on Svalbard right now if you want to try before you buy. "
Oh how perfect.
Can we sip proper Spanish hot chocolate and watch the Northern Lights? I'll apply for a postgrad in geology so we can spend a few years there. |

Perfect. I'll start a campaign to armour the local bears, which should prove nicely controversial, and we can learn how to ice-carve in the long winter evenings. |

Yes I do! I feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful place, on the Shropshire side of the Welsh border, mountains and beach a short drive away, Liverpool an hour away, Manchester and Birmingham just over an hour.
This is the area I grew up in.
If I were to relocate it would be London to be close to my boy |

Not a bad place where I live… only problem is there’s not really much around. Either you have to drive or take a train to the nearest city to go to a nightclub or do a proper pub crawl. Nearest spicy club is a train ride and taxi the other way so all in all, it’s a lovely place but boring and going downhill… |

I’m lucky as have two, ones a 2 minute walk to the beach and in the centre of a thriving welsh town, plenty of hills and mountains a stone throw away. The other is where I spend the majority of my time, housing estate, not my cup of tea but was my first property. It’s close to my friends and family hence why I’ve stayed here |

I live opposite a park that has lots of big trees...also means I have no houses opposite me
I do like the location, but if I had the choice I'd live by water...a big lake, or maybe the sea. I'd love that |

Love the area it’s gorgeous with great links only 30/45 mins drive away. But the people are far to up their own arse for my liking. I’d love to move to a more humble surrounding. But that means the kids education suffers. So here we shall stay. I don’t mind being an outcast. Find it quite comical the looks I get when I talk

We ended up here by luck more than anything .. or at least value for money in property prices , but really love the area
2 minutes from a beach and farmland/open space around us
Not so much “excitement” for the kids but ours make the most of the place they live too

Somewhere off the edge of the map... 'ere there be monsters |
We live where we live because it's cheap (so we could afford it) and it was centrally located for our jobs (no longer the case). I like that it's centrally located; an hour from Manchester, an hour from Birmingham, an hour from Chester/Wrexham, an hour from Derby, etc. But I hate that it has bad internet.
If I could live anywhere I'd look up where has the best internet, ha ha! |

I moved to this town 22 yrs ago, parts of the town isn't very pleasant. The area i live was quite rough when I 1st moved here but its got better over the years.
Town centre is awful, it died a death about 8yrs ago.
I've never really been happy here, stayed as kids were happy at school/jobs/ hone etc.
Thankfully I'm near the countryside and I go for lovely walks to escape the norm.
Now my kids are all grown up and only 1 still living at home, I'm looking to move away. Even thinking of going aboard to live.

The area we live in is known as "where the forest meets the sea", so we get the best of both worlds. Numerous upsides, including there's nothing here for teenagers to do so they go elsewhere. Very few downsides, apart from being delayed on journeys through the forest by the donkeys, cows and ponies standing in the middle of the road licking the salt from the gritters. But that's not really a downside |

Love it? Not particularly. It's alright.
Good area? Like any, has its good and bad bits.
Where we wanted to settle? Dunno, it was just cheap-ish and near family, when we finished uni. Seemed a sensible place to settle.
Change location? Hopefully will be doing soon, when we get our bungalow. Only moving areas a bit (4-5 miles) because we can't afford or find a suitable bungalow in this area. Chose the house not so much the area. |

I bought a house a couple of years ago to be near my ex , my family, and grown up kids.
It’s a very nice area but I’d much rather be by the sea. I’m only there 50% as I work in other countries 50%.
I don’t love the area but I love the people I’m near and that’s more important to me. |

Newcastle upon Tyne |
Love living in Newcastle we knew this was where we were going to settle down when we arrived on Tyneside in 2000. It is a vibrant city with a lovely coastline within 15/20 minutes of where we live. Then we have the countryside all around us and so much history to boot.
If we could change one thing it would be that it was a bit warmer, the winters are bloody cold, but then we did come to Tyneside off the back of three years living in Italy |
