I saw there was quite a few debates about beards on the forums. For me, if I don’t have a beard I look like a kid. During lockdowns I did a clean shave.
Take a look. I’ve uploaded my face with and without a beard and very interested to see if anyone thinks I actually look better without?
Any other guys willing to put a beard vs clean shave pics up? The transformation is always fantastic to see |

My beard is there for a few reasons;
1. Saves money
2. I look about 10 clean shaven
3. Shaving gives me terrible razor burn on the neck to the point it looks like I’ve tried to slash my throat.
4. Protects my face when I have to work in the arctic circle.
5. It annoys my boss who follows different grooming standards and isn’t allowed to have a beard.
6. Most importantly- I like having one |

Haha yes I fully agree I also look like a child without a beard. I used to be a chef so had to shave regular. Since then I have allowed it to grow and now I've reached manhood |

"I love a beard. But oddly - I think you suit better without. But that’s only my opinion.
Mrs m"
Oh okay. Because I’m so rarely clean shaven I never got peoples opinions. When I took the photo on my profile it had been 11ish years since (high school) I had seen myself without a beard. |

It’s not a joke that it keeps us warm! When I have a haircut and beard trim (not even a shave) I feel freezing outside! |

Same as exposing any body part to the air. Hair is there because evolution has deemed it necessary. We’re all so obsessed with stripping, waxing and removing every bit of hair that grows from our bodies, that we’re told are unattractive. (Remember women only started shaving their armpits when Gillette told Americans that French women did it to sell more blades). |

"I made one without beard public, I prefer having a beard
Your show off your great jawline without though "
That's the only plus but I don't grow beard below it so it's a bit on show even with one |

I think ive got a stubble pic on my public photos. The rest are beard ones, as they were all taken recently.
As i said on another thread, for me its not about fashion or trend. Its purely doing something different.
Ive had a shaved head for about 25yrs, so its not as if i can try a different hairstyle (except a combover).
So the only way i can experiment is with facial hair. |

That’s a different perspective to think about. Really interesting. |
