Secret hideaway in the pennines

As some of you know, I am leaning Shibari/Kinbaku.

It's artistic, challenging and enjoyable.

I ultimately want to get to the level where I can suspend (a long way to yet).

It keeps my brain active.

So my question, do you enjoy leaning new skills, are you the type of person who challenges yourself, leaning a new language, a new hobby, getting to grips with a new skill set

Staffordshire

Firstly, good for you man

Secondly, Thinking about it I’ve not tried anything new in years apart from a job I’d always wanted that turned out to be the job from hell and impacted my life very negatively.

I’m inspired, gonna put some thought into a new hobby

Worthing

I work in I.T. and there is always something new to learn. Tech in general seems to change every day!

Tech definitely has built in obsolescence.

Cheshire

Starting a new job at my age. It’ll use some of my previous skills and experience but I’m going from the private to the public sector.

So I’ll have to learn new systems and work practices. Obviously I’m a bit nervous, it’s been awhile since I started afresh, but excited as well.

So it’s not a new hobby or language, but I’m not playing safe by staying in a job I find boring and it’s going nowhere. I’m taking a risk and hoping it’ll go well.
