We have fossils Mr KC collected. Beyond that, possibly jewellery that belonged to my Grandma and were antique when she got them. Or possibly one of my Grandad's instruments, but I'm not sure of their precise age.
Nowhere near the oldest, but I have poems handwritten on handmade paper, from 1917. Sent to my Grandma (owner of aforementioned jewellery) and her sister and brother by an aunt. Each poem is about the child who received it and were for Christmas-time. |

My uncle married an American woman and when he came to visit gave me a flight jacket that belonged to her Dad, who was a USAF bomber pilot. Not leather, made from horsehide. Has a label on the inside, made in New York in 1942. |

"I also have some roman coins " Fairly hard to beat other than geological items!
Coins wise, I have got some Queen Victoria 'Honolulu*' pennies. Also got a unique 'fourpenny bit' which I brazed together myself but that was in the 1950s.
*Anyone else familiar with the 'Honolulu' penny? If not I might need to explain how to spot them! |

"Probably me "
Umm, you certainly don’t look like the oldest thing there. I’m sure that flooring at the bottom of your rather wonderful legs is much, much older xx |

"My great grandmother's glass dressing table tray. C1918"
I'm reminded how ballsed up my family's generations are with these dates. My paternal Great Grandfather was born in 1865 and his daughter, my Grandma, was born in 1908 |
