Yes, but on that I'd put a caveat in that my partner was a willing and engaged lover not having sex out of some misguided idea of obligation. Being engaged with it also tends to mean that general other levels of intimacy (cuddles, kisses general touching) are also happening. In my experience if not engaged in sex then these other lower (but equally important) levels of intimacy don't happen. |

"Yes because the sex is amazing and there is far more to a good relationship than sex, if it's not enough you chat about exploring other options.
Communication is key.

If you're looking for the Lounge to help you decide whether or not sex twice a month is acceptable and reasonable to you in your relationship, OP, I doubt you'll get the answer you're hoping for.
If you're not having sex with your partner as much as you'd like to, you're probably best off talking to them about it.
Good luck.

"As long as the twice a month was mind-blowing then that would be fine. Though I'd need to talk to them and find out why if it used to be more often than that."
And if it wasn't mind blowing? |

I'd stay, both R and I have been in that situation in previous relationships and we've been known to be less regular than that between ourselves, though we do flirt and tease a lot but sex is just part of a much deeper relationship. |

If everything else was good in the marriage then yes. There could be a reason for it not being very often. Maybe she finds it boring. I know with my ex hubby it was very vanilla and he was against trying anything to spice things up so eventually I didn’t want it. But it wasn’t just that that caused the marriage to break down, there were other issues too. |

Stay a realship transcends sex
Sex is easy to get I can have mindless sex when ever I want
What I can’t get when ever I want
Is someone who understands me
Someone to cuddle with and laugh with and be my self without needing to put up the fake face that I am happy
Someone to share problems with
Someone to just lazy around with and pig out on munches some days
When I split with the ex 10 years ago I thought it would be the sex I miss young and stupid
As I have gotten older I have totally relied that it’s other things I miss the most
As now mindless sex is easy to get
Hence the reason that I am looking for a mix off fully open / semi open realship
As if the sex fizzy out a bit we can still transcend that while needs are being forfilled other places
And by a mix off open / semi open
Open to me means you can have sex with who ever you like when ever you like
Semi open to me means that you can have sex with people as long as your partner oks it
My mix off semi open
Would be you can have sex with who ever you like when ever you like as long as you tell the other hafe afterwards and always come home to or bed no staying over otherwise it’s all fair game

"Only having sex with your partner twice a month would you stay with them or not, why? "
Like most women, I can go long periods without sex and with a low libido and not even wanking so... Yeah I can stay with them.
Maybe this is more a question for people who have a high libido or who use sex for emotional regulation and as a psychological coping technique. For those people lack of sex, starts to make them unbalanced. |

What does your wife think?"
I find it strange that you are asking people of fab if you should leave your wife or not. Strange post |

Sometimes the opinions of strangers can focus your mind. We have no context or background but a chance comment from a stranger can give you a different perspective. |

Why am I only having sex with them twice a month? Because I need the exact details and backstory before I give a specific answer. |

I suppose it depends on why you are in the relationship, if it’s for sex then why would you? If sex is only a part of the relationship then I suppose you would need to consider how well the other areas are going. |

It all depends whether your still in love with your partner.
I was with someone for 20 yrs the sex became non existence and then so did the love I had for him. The lack of sex was not the reason I fell out of love with though.
I do think intimacy in a relationship is hugely important and that can be expressed in a sexual or non way. |
