it's like most things there is a time and a place for it.
I have had some great times using kik, when you can't meet the person for real. and also as a kind of forplay before meeting them.
also had a great time with a couple, husband was at work, the lady at home, and me at mine. |

It can be hit or miss and comes down to the imagination and ability to be creative with word usage.
Even then it still needs to be the right people involved.
When it's done right, it is amazing. Unfortunately it falls flat for most, either because they or their partner just lack the above to make it spark correctly. |

No not for me. If I want to sext or dirty chat with someone, I would feel comfortable enough with them to exchange numbers and it wouldn’t have to be kept so anonymous and sneaky. Snapchat just seems immature, and highly likely they wouldn’t be the kind of person I would be interested in talking to. |

The only real use for either of these apps is to do quick video or pic verification. The actual chat aspect is not interesting to me & like I said it's just the 2am wank brigade. |

I've found them both really helpful for arranging meets, no lost messages in the ether and great for finding out about each other!
