What ever tattoo you choose is a personal choice inregards to design and location.
What you need to remember you may like. Other may like it. Plus there will be haters who hate ink general.
Just think long and hard about what you want.
Up till December 2022i had a total 9 tattoo then in December got another 2 making it a total of 11 tattoos.
I have verious reasons behind each one. But all that matters is i like them.

Why do you want one? That should be the key question. It shouldn't be tomappeal to others or because other people have them.
As for size? I've always felt small looks good on women but odd on men.
In terms of design if you're copying a trend or picking one you've seen on someone else or on a flash card then try at least to work with an artist on making it more personal.
All of mine (17) have been individually designed via a back and forth process with artists til we both think its right. Some are slightly more 'off the wall' than others but each is unique.
Except for one I had as a teen but few people ever see that anyway.
Don't rush into anything.

I probably wouldn't choose a tattoo based on advice on a swingers forum.
But anywhere other than hands neck and face is discreet |

Dont do it, everyone is getting a tattoo now as if its a thing they must have.
I got my first tattoo back in 1980 simply because it was regimental and everyone in the forces had one.
From there you would continue and then 43 years later you have tattoos which could cause you some trouble when overseas.
Having no tattoos is a cool thing as everyone and their cat has a tattoo today.
If you do want to go down this route, consider something totally different, get a Branding. |

Camel, on your toe.
At the end of the day, it all your choice. You have to live with it. Try drawing your own, take to a DECENT artist and work with the artist. Maybe your starsign somewhere?

Agree 
I don’t have any, but at one time I really liked them. However as everyone I know seems to have one I now no longer want any for myself.
I also agree with another comment, if you’re going to have one then go for it. Start at the top of the arm and you’ll probably have a sleeve in a few years,

I really don't get the logic of "dpnt get one, everyone has one", so what? Loads of people have them, loafs don't no one has exactly the same as me, my sleeve is unique, I had one last weekend based on artwork of a band, other people have similar and I couldn't care less.
Its my body, my skin, my tattoos I don't have them because they're popular and I don't have them to be different, I have them because I want them.

Personal preference OP. Think long on what design you want and the placement. My current one in the works i was nearly two years tweaking and going over and back and forth on it. Its your body at the end of the day and while its good to have opinions the final decision is yours |

You should be able to decide on your own  it's for you and nobody else.
Discreet location depends on your everyday outfit and who isn't supposed to notice it. Obviously going swimming will expose most tattoos! |

only you can decide if yes what to have, and where to have it.
my advice is take as long as it takes to be sure because once its done you have to live with it a long time! |

I know the words I want, I know the location. Just having trouble finding the right font.
I was hoping the local tatooe place could advise but not much from them tbh. I am not in a rush and want to get it right in all honesty.
