He began the empire but it became three times the size after his death so the largest contiguous empire was attributed to his sons and grandchildren. So it can be argued one of the later Khans founded the largest.Genghis was only interested in Mongolia and destroying China. His successors determined to expand their empire, as far as Vienna, Moscow,all of China,into India and as far as the Middle East.

These men were singleminded forces of nature, never shirked from the fight.
The most interesting people have something eating at them from inside, propelling then forward - you wouldn’t want to be them, but they can be inspirational. |

I've had this discussion before, but organising a piss up. I would use the time machine to collect some of the world's most famous hellraisers for a pub crawl around the Monopoly board in London.
Alex Higgins, Oliver Reid, George Best, Hunter S Thompson, Betty Ford, Liz Taylor, Richard Burton, Richard Harris, Winston Churchill, Earnest Hemingway, Frank Sinatra and Boris Yeltsin. Finishing in an upmarket venue in Mayfair. |

He did renounce violence when the South African government renounced violence and the process towards reform was properly set in motion.

Klux klan… his mother sent to a mental asylum, he survived on the streets and he was a criminal… then was sent to prison… where he was brainwashed by someone who told him false ways of a certain faith that he followed, but he stated that what ever he said when he was under their guidance was all false, he was brainwashed into believing that all white people were devils.. but in his auto biography he explained that growing up at that time and the way he was treated by white people is the reason he was easily led to believed this.. it was only his journey to Mecca where he realised that the faith he had chosen would accept all races, when he returned he wanted to preach this to all the people of America to help build community relations… but the organisation that he had left and wanted nothing to do with had him assassinated |
