What's with all the Thatcher vs Scargill debates, is anyone else bored with reading the threads where Tory fabbers and Labour fabbers battle over who was right and who was wrong in the 80's?

I, too find some threads more interesting than others - I tend to stay away from those I find boring or too crass and just read the ones I find interesting and post on some I like.

You ll never please everybody with certain threads...so I guess it is a matter of life being a box of chocolates... pick the ones you like and let others have the rest?

Sometimes I read them cos I know nothing about politics and think I might learn something, however I just end up none the wiser due to seeing both sides

...when I get though, I just stop reading them

Actually I don't post on them but I enjoy feeling the passion from posters who care for the country... Whatever side they may sit on.

Although, once the replies on replies on replies have more than 16576548 words, I give up

Can see fault on both sides. But as it affected me personally growing up and adulthood , (and I dont know enough for a good political debate) I try and avoid as best I can

i guess the thing to do is take part and try not to let it become serious.

i hate it when a thread starts nice and becomes a slagging match.

At the end of the day it is a forum. I don't post in something I am not interested in eg fuck avoid threads nor do I read them as I know they don't interest me but I wouldn't deny the folk who do like them which is clearly lots.

I thought this was about wanking hands too.

Come on, show us them jazz hands...or should that be jizz...or jazz mags...perhaps it should be jizz mags...then again does anyone still read jazz mags?

I remember seeing them everywhere when I was a kid.

I can still recall reading some of the letters in them, there was some that were from people in the war reminicing about leg overs they had during air raids and stuff.

That's where all our six footers come from y'know.

Mind you, I'm surprised they had the energy for a bit of hows your father, all they had to eat were powdered egg and turnips and whatever they could coax out of the shopkeepers by flashing a gravy coated leg with eyeliner penciled up the back.

Her at number 34 had her fair share of nylons off them candian's she was letting finger her in next doors privvy when they came out of the church hall dance every saturday night.

But then again, she ended up pissing off to Quebec so at least she did well out of it.

Yes...the mind does wander when you're bored.

At a Conservative estimate, may I suggest we are Labouring the point....

The endless 'would you.. above' threads bore the crap out of me so I don't post on them. Neither do I post on the 'morning' threads, nor the best tits/ass/pussy/cock popularity threads.

I do like a good debate however, and over time I've got to know almost exactly what a certain poster will say before they've even said it, and in some cases we've managed to overcome our initial polar dislike of each other to earn a grudging respect for people for their consistency in their beliefs.

It's in The Lounge. The vast majority of Fab forums remain for those who have no interest in such matters.

They're easy to ignore,I don't particularly enjoy them purely for the reason that some people can't accept other peoples opinions and remain adult in a debate

While I adore passionate _iews I don't enjoy seeing people get personal to try and win an argument, thats not debate at all

Mainly boring but at times someone stirs it up and adds a bit of tongue in cheek humour. I say let those who love them continue to and those that don't ignore as much as you can.

Fergie can say what he likes. No manager can come close to his record so he's earned it. Besides, he's right, he's always right.
