The cat cafe, the waffle shop, dough and oil pizza place, Hickorys smokehouse.....

I met Jim at the Starbucks on the square and we had a riverside walk. Then Jim showed me some erections in the park

Shrewsbury is nice....you might want to take a Dinghy with you

Shrewsbury is mostly lovely. Better in the summer.

They have a very cool Harry Potter shop!

Plenty of places to eat and drink.

by the big field

If you’re driving, I can recommend The Riverside Inn just outside Cound- about 3-4 miles outside the town centre, gets busy though so best to book but the views are pretty special if you get a seat in the orangery (unless you go at night, obvs)

Shrewsbury

Currently most is closed due to flooding.

Depends what you like to do, go on trip advisor.

I may like a place that you wouldn't.

We went to a lovely restaurant called Riverbank. Both service and food were great.

Loved The Dingle as it was in bloom at the time. But also little cemetery with Scrooge "grave" in it.

Mayfair

The Shrewsbury Tourist office offer guided Erect-Jim Tours. You get to walk around all his old haunts, stomping grounds, groping lanes and, the highlight of the tour, the Blue Plaque that's been erected for him.

It's a place of pilgrimage.

I've never been. But when I do, I am going to hunt down Jim and then have a coffee. If Jim is around, it will be lovely.

You may have my "coffee voucher". I have plenty from the Nocturnals.

We still haven't managed a coffee with Jim, a pint or so may be.

I've heard stories about the hauntings in the jail, a friend was there doing some bird, he had some experiences in there
