right in thinking that you can block an ISP on a wireless router ................ if so how does one do it please?

you cant block your isp as you need them to conenct to t'internet... but you should be able to block particlar search terms or named sites.

if i log into my router there are cunningly named settings under 'block sites'

the trouble with going this route is that there are more sites than you can keep up with and it makes locking down your network painful

so what i have done is switched to using OpenDNS. By changing my router from picking up the DNS servers specified by my provider to the OpenDNS ones, I get them to block the nefarious sites on my behalf (tho I've enabled this site and a couple of others for personal consumption!!)

it's not foolproof as there are plenty of ways around it, but it's a good first line of defence....
