Had the shittiest week ever, so think I'll spend the weekend cooking up some hearty recipes & watching a few of my favourite programs
*Only fools and horses
*Friday night dinner
*Fawlty towers
*Royal family
*Open all hours
*Father ted
*Phoenix nights
*Hi-de-hi

Theres room for a few extra under my duvet, bring snacks & wine

Porridge always scared me as a child, no opening music just doors shutting. The characters also had a hint of menace about them, they did cast it well.
Phoenix Nights, as I was born in Bolton so did go to clubs very similar to the one in the series.
Father Ted / I.T Crowd. Same writer so same excellent quality of writing and characters.
Derry Girls, spent a couple of months living and working in the City, loved the people and the place. Also it’s very funny and dark at times.
Finally, Just Good Friends, romantic and funny, John Sullivan forgotten masterpiece.
Plenty of other great other suggestions as well. |

Scrubs! Great shout.
There was also one called Barry which came and went but was very good "
Love Scrubs so much! No other show had the ability to make me feel like laughing and punch me in the dick at the same time |

"Plebs might have to watch some later
Plebs is so funny
And would I be correct in saying that it's the only Roman sitcom we've had since Up Pompeii?"
Probably so ? |

Sixty replies and only one mentioned Early Doors? It's one of the funniest sitcoms ever. And currently being repeated on the BBC for the first time in 14 years. Catch it on iplayer while you can.
