Not the biggest fan but had the opportunity to stag manage him at a festival. A very humble man and appreciated all stage technicians. Thank you for your talent Jeff xxx

Of the three Yardbird guitarists (Clapton. Beck and Page). Jeff Beck was the one that kept producing new and interesting stuff right to the end. I was a big Clapton fan from Beano Album time and was at the original Cream Farewell concert but if you look at YouTube vids of his latest concerts it's just going through the motions and no spark or excitement anymore. Contrast that with Jeff Beck and his last tour (which I missed). Still fresh and exciting and different bringing out Johnny Depp. The technique he developed using whammy bar with such subtlety and dexterity was unique and dazzling. For those whos first thought is Hi Ho Silver lining.. Check out vids of Jeff Beck at Ronnie Scott's. Also as the amazing Tal Wilkenfeld on bass.. Who looks 14 but is incredible.. Nice tits too lol.
