Gateway to the Beacons |
Having had the flu, Covid, sinusitis and a chest infection through December and the new year. I nearly cancelled as my chest was still rough and my heads been in the shed a bit.
Thankfully I drove to the airport yesterday afternoon through rain, hail, sleet and flew out to Portugal.
Woke this morning to wall to wall sun, had a lush walk got some vitamin D, I have just been in the sea getting battered by waves and watching the sun set.
The improvement in my mind has been instant a mix of sun, sea and cold water being among nature.
I’m off for a wander and a bite to eat, tomorrow I want to do sunrise swim in the Atlantic.
I needed this break for my physical and mental well-being.
The forecast is a week of sun, good food and chill time x
Take care you beautiful souls x |

Three hours and you're under a beautiful blue sky and being warmed by the sun. Amazing!!
Trouble is, there's a three hour journey in the other direction and it doesn't take a great deal of time for the effects to wear off
Sorry for being such a miserable sod |

"The sun perks people up. I notice the difference in people's moods come spring/summer on a sunny day
It really does
I felt much happier in Tenerife. Sad to be back
Have a great time!"
I’ll try my best |
