Appreciate it's a while away, but just secured my ticket and excited!
Never been before, camping at Cartmel Fields. Anyone else heading? Any advice, what to expect and general chat about it? |

I'd say use all the free practice to visit different locations you can sit in any grandstand during the Friday and Saturday if you have a grand stand seat for the race not sure for general admission.. Becketts is where you can see the cars real cornering potential and get an idea of just how amazing they are ..also invest in an in ear radio as by the 5th lap you'll have no real idea who's where |

Never been to Cartmel fields but have been 5 times to silverstone staying at woodlands and can say its totally epic the whole weekend, the entertainment is awesome either on the track or on sites near by.
We are staying at Whittlebury this year and can't wait |

Enjoy it, pal!! I went in 2006 and it was an amazing experience. The sights and sounds were off the chart.
I also camped - only cost me £5 per night but I imagine that’s changed haha.
The advice on using FP to find the best place to see quali is sound. Prepare yourself for a burger costing one meellion dollars. |

Stowe is also worth a visit, watched the race from there a few years back and it was fantastic. Oh and the only place I’ve ever been to when the men need to plan their bathroom breaks well in advance, the queues for the gents toilets were ridiculous and hopefully silverstone will have addressed this and put a shed load more in all around the track |

We are at Whittlebury from Thursday lunchtime until Monday in our motorhome- stayed there last year and it was great - DM us if fancy a drink at the beer tent or our motorhome in the Tower electric area |
