Since tonight seems to be children's/fantasy literature night...
In Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials books, there is a world where people's souls are visible in the form of an animal, known as your daemon. Although your daemon may speak, disagree even, it IS you,and its shape reflects your true personality
Childrens' daemons can change animal shape easily, as befits their changeable and developing nature. But adult daemons are settled - servants have dog daemons of differing breeds, a powerful, dominant person might have a large cat, academics often have owls/ravens, a sailor might have a dolphin, etc...
So: based on the profile and Forum personality of the poster above you, what do you think their daemon - the animal expression of their soul - would be, and why? |
