Stuff that somehow is deeply satisfying to see or experience?
Droplets of rain running like beads, off a brand new gortex coat.
Perfect temperature butter, spreading evenly on toast as opposed to ripping it to pieces.
You? |

Driving without a destination. You get to take in your surroundings more rather than trying to always be somewhere.
I also find peace in storm like weather. |

When shampoo and conditioner both run out at the same time. It's like a cosmic blessing on my day on the very rare occasion it happens.
Oh, and when I get the water level right in the kettle and boil exactly enough water for one mug of tea. Heaven. |

Alluringly mysterious |
My first sip of hot tea in the morning. And the first sensation of hot water pounding my shoulders in the shower. Both make me audibly sigh with happiness and appreciation.
The sound of wind through trees.
And whiskers on kittens tied up with string. Have I got that right?

That small breeze that hits you just at the right moment when you’ve been tanning and it’s got a little too much… then you’re good to go again for another couple of hours |

I thought this was only me! And there's no pattern as to which it will be first. |

When the person at the cash till in the grocery store hands me my items in just the right order so they can go straight into my bag for life… tins on the bottom then packets , then fruit and veg, then bread … and it all fits in perfectly. |

"When I lift the lid on a pan of rice that I left to absorb water and presto ....... there it is - perfectly soft and fluffy. Makes me long to sell street food. "
Oh crumbs!
I have never and doubt very much that I will ever know how satisfying that could be cos I just can never get it right!
I just buy those microwaveable rice in bags |
