I get up every morning, put a smile on my face and think that things could be a LOT worse. I try to achieve something every morning, even if it’s a little or trivial thing. It puts me in a positive mindset for the day. I drag my arse to the gym, releases those feel good endorphins. By the time I’ve done that, I’ve forgotten all about the fact it’s January. |

I stay in Dubai for all Jan it’s lovely weather but I do miss home.
If I was home I’d be training super heavy in Jan / Feb, eating extra meat, sleeping lots, 247 in joggers and hoodies and being anti social. I’d come out of gym/hibernation in March looking like Wolverine |

I've started getting ready for Xmas earlier so I don't take a big hit on cash in one go.
It's a long month but I'm not skint! Just booked a 4 night in Turkey for Feb with a mate, and researching a solo trip to Cuba in April. This cheers me up no end in my worst month of the year. Other than that, footie gets me through as long as we're playing ok... |

I have always struggled in January and early Feb.
I find the weather doesn't help when it's grey and wet. If dry and sunny it helps.
Maybe next year, I will just go to sunnier/warmer climates for a month.

Never understood why so many people feel like January is a bad month.
Yes it's cold, dark, wet, and miserable, but so is most of November and December?
Know it's hard sometimes but think it's important to try to keep a positive mindset.
Each and every day we're alive is a gift |

Leave the “new year, new me” BS to everyone else, spend this month eating whatever you want so you can get rid of all the chocolate and booze you were given at Christmas. You can start your health kick once you’ve disposed of the temptation and as an added bonus, by February the crowds in the gym will have evaporated when people start falling off the wagon! |
