My next car was a mk4 cortina ,had it completely rebuilt, kept it over 20yrs, got accidently caught up in a chelsea cruise traffic jam and pictures were being taken of it . |

Great little motor and went on to Bravo, which was brilliant, low to ground, great road holder but then went on to the newer Bravo which had a great engine but shite gearbox and cost me over €6k in 3yrs in repairs!
Never buying Fiat again.

1.8L Diesel P reg Fiesta. No power steering, no Turbo. Had it for about 2 years, had to buy a new exhaust on the way back from Scotland cause it was hanging off. Still took 3 guys and a welding kit to take it off and replace it. It only cost me £75 as well... A good day that was.. mostly anyway |

Ford Sierra 1.8l. it was a piece of shit, but it was rear wheel drive. I owned it for 6 months and it failed its MOT with no reason to fix it, the poor thing was so bad. It was fun to drive and taught me what the instructor couldn't. It was so much better than a brand new Citroen C4 I owned many years later. That was the worst car I ever owned. Worse than a 20 year old rot box MOT failure. A brand new car I felt was more unsafe to than a rusty old Ford. |
